- A capybara is the world's largest rodent,
- it measures up to 1.3m (4ft) long and
- 50kg (110lb)in weight. It is found in South
- America, and it belongs to the guinea-pig
- family. It inhabits marshes and dense
- vegetation around water. It has got thin,
- yellow hair,is a very good swimmer,and can
- rest underwater with just eyes, ears, and
- nose above the surface.
